This page explains, in plain English, what we do (and do not do) with your details when you contact us or buy from Motorized Bikes Ireland. If anything here is unclear, call us on 087 278 7177 and we will happily talk you through it.
What we collect
When you get in touch through our contact form, request a bike build, ask us to notify you when an out-of-stock item is back in, or place an order, we collect the details you give us: your name, email address, phone number, and (for deliveries) your address. That is the extent of what we collect. We do not track you around the web or buy in data from anywhere else.
What we use it for
We only ever use your details for one of three reasons: to contact you about an order or build request you have made with us, to let you know when an item you asked us to notify you about is back in stock, or to answer a question you sent us through the contact form. That is it.
What we do not do
We do not sell your data to anyone. We do not use your details for marketing, and we will not add you to a mailing list or send you promotional emails. We do not share your details with third parties, other than the delivery partners we use to get engine kits and parts to you (An Post or our courier), and only the information they need to make the delivery.
Where it is stored
Your details are stored securely in our website’s order and form system (WordPress and Fluent Forms), on our hosting provider’s servers. We keep this information only for as long as is reasonably needed to fulfil your order, answer your query, or action your back-in-stock request.
